Stay with Me by K.L. Grayson

Image
I am often put off from reading second chance tropes, it's a personal thing but I never saw how they could be realistic given that if someone walked away from me, I would not take them back. This is a hard and fast rule. But something drew me to this book and I was not left disappointed. It is all credit to the solid foundation to the plot and the strong character development through the novel. I would recommend Stay With Me to fellow naysayers. Rachel's Pudding Pantry by Caroline Roberts

Image
A ⭐⭐⭐⭐ delicious read. I thoroughly enjoyed Caroline Robert's latest release, the downside I was left very hungry without any form of pudding in the house. Keep snacks to hand when reading, you will need them. The slow-burning tension between Rachel and Tom was great, I was left rooting for Rachel to see what was right in front of her. The only gripe I have was the story was there were frequent time hops in the story, there to jump to the next part of the plot, whilst they might have been seamless, the number of times it happened stuck in my head. All in all a solid read and would prompt me to pick up Caroline's future releases. My thanks to #HarperImpluse and #Netgalley for giving me an advanced copy of #RachelsPuddingPantry for an honest review. One Summer In Paris by Sarah Morgan

Image
Sarah Morgan’s standalone novels are as good as her trilogies. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One Summer in Paris is yet another example of how truly talented a storyteller Sarah Morgan is. I was hooked from the first page, I lived through the highs and lows of Grace and Audrey’s journeys, I could smell the decadent Parisian air whilst the windy and rain were battering my window in North East England. My heart aches for both of the protagonists in this story, who were connected in a way I could not have imagined. The hits life (aka Sarah) kept giving them showed that the power of friendship when the rest of your world is falling apart is a remarkable thing. I would recommend #OneSummerInParis to anyone who wants to escape to the continent of a little while. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book Purchase Links: Amazon UK :  https://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Summer-Paris-Sarah-Morgan/dp/1848457189/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2U1VPZK653U3T&keywords=one+summer+in+paris&qid...
