That Night In Paris by Sandy Barker

That Night In Paris... I fell in love with this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ star read. This book is as much about friendships as it is about love. When one woman takes a journey to lose herself, she finds her heart along the way.  I loved the cast of characters we meet on our whistle-stop tour of Europe, from London to Rome and back to Paris, we are introduced to the bus besties and various males, but it's the random stranger in the street who captures the heart of Cat out intrepid explorer. By the time I finished reading #ThatNightInParis there was a little place in my heart for Lou as well as Jean-Luc, I hope that we may learn how happens in her story. What surprised me was the detail that the author took in describing all the cities on the tour, I could imagine being in each one along with Cat, Lou and the rest of the gang.  My thanks, as always, to #Netgalley, #OneMoreChapter and to Sandy Barker for allowing me to read and review a copy of #ThatNightInParis. The Little Teashop In Tokyo by Julie Caplin

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm unsure what it is about Julie Caplin's writing but with each and every book she leaves me wondering what I am going to do until she releases her next book. I inhaled #TheLittleTeashopInTokyo in less than 24 hours, a miracle in my current situation, but her characters are so compelling, even when I want to bash them in the head with a teapot, aka Gabe. There were so many things about this book that spoke to me, Fiona's relationship with her mother, her sense of peace which comes with nature, how brave she is to try new and strange things and her general curiosity.  Yes, there were moments when I cursed and yelled at the characters, but much like #TheLittleCafeInCopenhagen I am left content and happy, what more could you want from a book. As always, my thanks to #Netgalley, #HarperCollinsOneMoreChapter (#OneMoreChapter) and @JulieCaplin for the opportunity to read & review a copy of #TheLittleTeashopInTokyo which is released on 11th June...

Aria’s Travelling Book Shop by Rebecca Raisin

An enchanting book about books and love. I loved this book, pure and simple. It has everything I need from a story, love, laughter and ugly cries.  You will experience friendship, romance, grief, guilt, and forgiveness when you join Aria on her journey to find her new normal, along with her best friend and a motley crew of new friends they meet on their life on the road.  The perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read to lose yourself in during lockdown. As always by thanks to #Netgalley #HQDigital and the author for the chance to review this wonderful book. Four Love by Jayne Rylon

Image
Hot and heavy is how I would describe the second book in the Ever and Always duet. There is everything you would expect and enjoy from Ms. Rylon's books, off the charts heat mixed with vulnerability from all four partners, leading to self-discovery.  I did enjoy reading this book, I have rated it  ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ  as the only thing I wasn’t so keen on was how Owen and Lorenzo would grumble and acknowledge Trent's baggage but then hold in their own. However, I understand that the characters needed to be that way to move the story on.  All in all, well worth a read and a good conclusion to a great duet.
