A Summer Escape and Strawberry Cake at the Cosy Kettle by Liz Eeles
I am new to Honeyford, but I have fallen in love with the town and its eclectic and eccentric residence. From Flora who wants to fit in and set down roots after the ultimate betrayal to Luna who enchants and slightly scares people when first introduced. The main story revolves around Flora, who is finding herself whilst trying to ensure her fledgling business survives and blossoms and Luna’s son Daniel, who is coming out of the darkness which enveloped him following his wife’s untimely death. They are bound by their affection and love of Daniel’s son. The humour threaded into the characters lightened the burden of some of the deeper issues, infidelity, death and bullying.
