A Springtime Affair by Katie Fforde

Image
A Lovely Read I did enjoy A Springtime Affair, with its quirky cast of characters and wide-reaching plot. I did enjoy the variety of personalities, from Helena and her mother, who were very easy to imagine to the diet devil sister in law and the creepy beau were true to form and really helped to add depth to the plot. The one character who I struggled with was Jago, to begin with, he was approachable but once his friendship with Helena develops into something more, he seems to flounder on the page.  On the other hand, the supporting cast of aunts, accountant and granddaughter helped in finding happiness, be it with the love of their lives or with brownies. My thanks as always to #Netgalley #PenguinRandomHouseUK #Cornerstone and the author Katie Fforde for allowing me the opportunity for reading and reviewing this  🌟🌟🌟🌟  read. A Dozen Second Chances by Kate Field

Image
What a delightful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read I'm not normally one to read a second chance romance, real-life has ruined me but I found #ADozenSecondChances to be refreshingly unique. This story is not just about a second chance to fall in love but a second chance at life, to live the life you are destined for, once you have completed the chapter you were given. The characters are playful and easy to imagine, my favourite being Gran, a mischievous sidekick who has the world wrapped around her finger, just don't forget the shortbread! My thanks to #Netgalley and #HarperCollinsUK and @OneMoreChapter for allowing me the chance to review this wonderful story. Four Money by Jayne Rylon

Image
The first part of the Ever and Always duet has a bit of everything... Jayne Rylon has pulled no punches in her latest release, Four Money, where the readers can catch up with old friends as well as meeting four delicious new characters. Though to some, this may feel like  a Cinderella or Pretty Woman trope due to the challenges life has thrown at Holly, but I think that cheapens the plot. I particularly enjoy the scenes where Holly gets to show her intellectual talents. Of course, there is the expected holy hotness, but the climax, so to speak, leaves the reader wanting more. Luckily we don't have to wait long for the concluding instalment of the book. Unexpectedly Yours by Rebecca Shea.

Image
Who says one-night cant mean the beginning of forever? In my reality, I doubt it could happen but Rebecca Shea's latest release allows us all to hope. The attraction between the two main characters was obvious but the question is can they overcome their differences and give forever a chance? Written with a good pace and some excellent characters, best friends make the best characters, this is another  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟  read I would highly recommend. Rebecca Shea has a real talent for keeping you hooked from beginning to end Purchase Links: Amazon US:  https://www.amazon.com/Unexpectedly-Yours-Rebecca-Shea-ebook/dp/B0846S7KPZ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Unexpectedly+yours&qid=1580649402&sr=8-1 Amazon UK:  https://www.amazon.co.uk/Unexpectedly-Yours-Rebecca-Shea-ebook/dp/B0846S7KPZ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Unexpectedly+yours&qid=1580649402&sr=8-1
