Coming Home To Maple Cottage by Holly Martin Review

A delightfully festive read which is everything I have come to expect from @HollyMAuthor. 
I have rated the return to Sandcastle Bay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars

This is a book of second chances which have come about from a tragic event, where love, not just romantic but also the unconditional love of family wins out.
Families are what you make them, they are not always made from blood. Isla and Leo along with all the residents from Sandcastle Bay band around to give Elliot the family he deserves but when a stranger comes to town he could have it all taken away from him. 
It takes a selfless act of love to secure this family’s future. 
There were times I was curled up in bed sobbing my heart out and others where I was making tea, laughing at how well Elliot takes after most children when they tell the entire village your deepest secrets.

This Christmas by Emma Heatherington

  What a cosy feel, good read.   I love Emma Heatherington’s latest book, it combines some of my favourite things, cosy feels, a dog, a suitable love interest, the image of rural Ireland, and of course Christmas.    It is difficult to write something refreshing in the increasingly crowded market of festive fiction, but This Christmas is one of the standout stories of 2023, I highly recommend snuggling up with a mug of hot chocolate and something nice to nibble on whilst you are enveloped in this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 star read. Probably the Best Kiss in the World by Pernille Hughes

I spent a weekend snuggled up in my living room with this  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ story, I enjoyed the characters almost as much as I wanted to knock some sense into them. Every single one of them was perfectly flawed, in as much I was rooting for them to succeed at the same time as shaking my head at their logic or lack thereof. It was most definitely the characters in this story that kept me reading, Jen being almost neurotic to Yakob.
