Another 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 star read from Mrs. Christmas aka Sarah Morgan.

For many people, myself included, family, is the heart of Christmas, bit it the Holy one or our own. No family is perfect, members come and go, we cut some out of our lives and cling to others like a life raft. It is this realism that Sarah Morgan entwines with her romance that makes me regret when I have to put her books down, to you know, go to work.

There is no sugar-coating the relationship, between Samantha, Elle, and Gayle, each headstrong in their own unique way. It takes an accident to bring mother and daughters together for the first time in five years, have their voices been too quiet for too long? Will secrets and fears sever their connection completely? 

A festive holiday in remote Scotland, maybe their last chance to mend bridges, make peace and open up, throw in a hot 'laird', a four-year-old, and a little Christmas magic and Sarah's latest book gives us a perfect escape from our everyday problems.

This Christmas by Emma Heatherington

  What a cosy feel, good read.   I love Emma Heatherington’s latest book, it combines some of my favourite things, cosy feels, a dog, a suitable love interest, the image of rural Ireland, and of course Christmas.    It is difficult to write something refreshing in the increasingly crowded market of festive fiction, but This Christmas is one of the standout stories of 2023, I highly recommend snuggling up with a mug of hot chocolate and something nice to nibble on whilst you are enveloped in this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 star read. Probably the Best Kiss in the World by Pernille Hughes

I spent a weekend snuggled up in my living room with this  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ story, I enjoyed the characters almost as much as I wanted to knock some sense into them. Every single one of them was perfectly flawed, in as much I was rooting for them to succeed at the same time as shaking my head at their logic or lack thereof. It was most definitely the characters in this story that kept me reading, Jen being almost neurotic to Yakob.
